Three years after the Les Paul’s original inception, Gibson dazzled the 1955 NAMM Show with five flamboyant Les Paul finishes: Samoa Beige, Copper Iridescent, Nugget Gold, Platinum, and Viceroy Brown. Now, 70 years down the line, Gibson Custom celebrates these ultra-rare vintage 6-strings with the impressive 1955 NAMM Show Commemorative Edition Les Paul collection. These guitars represent an exacting emulation of a true vintage Les Paul foundation, starting with a maple-topped 1-piece mahogany body that’s hand-selected for weight, a 1950s chunky D profile mahogany long-tenon neck, and a sleek Indian rosewood fingerboard. Moreover, while the original 1955 NAMM Les Pauls are legendary for their custom finishes, these instruments were also the very first Les Pauls to introduce the no-wire ABR-1 Tune-o-matic bridge and stop tailpiece. Like all pre-1957 Les Pauls, this gorgeous Gibson predates the PAF humbucker; instead, it sports a pair of biting Custom Shop P-90 Soapbar pickups. A Light Aged nitro lacquer finish from the Murphy Lab program seals the deal, complete with all the charm of a well-preserved vintage example. Lastly, these historic Les Pauls mirror their predecessors with an ultra-limited production run — only 70 models will be produced per color, so act fast to take this authentic piece of Gibson history into your own hands!

This place rocks! I was looking for a very specific guitar all across Canada and I found it in this gem of a shop located in Quebec. The people I dealt with there, namely Eric, were absolutely amazing. Very accommodating and helpful. I would buy from here again in a heartbeat. The guitar arrived in Victoria on time, quickly, very well packaged and I'm not even kidding when I say it was perfectly in tune out of the case and beautifully set up. I don't think that's ever happened in all my years of buying instruments. Thank you to Gérald Musique!

I took a chance buying a guitar online from this shop and it's by far the best guitar I own. Made in Canada beauty, the Godin Session 59T. The price was incredible as well as they took a very reasonable offer. Everything about the guitar was perfect including the carrying case it came in. Absolutely no complaints and I would love to buy from this shop again.
