Previously available only through the Wood Library and Private Stock programs, this version of the Modern Eagle V marks the model’s first appearance in the PRS Core lineup. True to its heritage, the Modern Eagle V 10-Top delivers a distinctly modern take on the PRS formula, designed for maximum tonal versatility.

Its pickup configuration features dual MEV humbuckers (identical to the Modern Eagle V’s former TCI pickups) paired with a middle-position NS-01 single-coil, all controlled via a 5-way blade switch, coil-splitting tone controls, and versatile mini-toggle EQ switches. This setup unlocks a wide spectrum of sparkling single-coil tones and full-bodied humbucker grind, allowing for precise tone shaping across any musical context.

At its core, a maple-capped mahogany body, mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard continue Paul Reed Smith’s long-standing commitment to using premium tonewoods. Completing the package is a rock-solid hardware combination featuring the PRS Gen III Tremolo and PRS Phase III locking tuners, positioning the Modern Eagle V 10-Top as one of the highest-performance instruments PRS has ever offered.
