The PRS S2 Custom 24-08 retains all the familiar S2 Custom details, including an asymmetric-beveled maple top, a scarfed mahogany neck, 24 frets, and a 25-inch scale. However, the added twist is a new level of sonic flexibility via an intuitive switching system. At first glance, you’ll undoubtedly be drawn to this solidbody electric guitar’s figured maple top. That said, the first time you wrap your hand around the S2 Custom 24-08’s Pattern Thin neck, you’ll quickly realize that it’s so much more than mere eye candy. Of course, the fat, snarling humbucker tones coaxed from its USA-made TCI pickups will complete your musical journey to dyed-in-the-wool PRS fandom. The S2 Custom 24-08 comes loaded with a rock-solid PRS tremolo for maximum expression, along with Phase III tuners culled from the company’s Core line. Attractive natural body binding, acrylic Old School Birds fingerboard inlays, gleaming nickel hardware, and a light-catching high-gloss nitro finish further elevate the Paul Reed Smith S2 Custom 24-08.
