PRS’s SE CE24 merges the Custom 24 series’ elegant tonewoods and iconic aesthetics with a snappy bolt-on-neck design. This guitar’s maple-veneer-topped mahogany body epitomizes the company’s tonal dedication to singing sustain, exceptional clarity, and vintage-style warmth, harkening back to the golden age of solidbody guitar building. However, instead of the standard mahogany set-neck found on the majority of PRS instruments, this guitar sports a sturdy maple Wide Thin neck with a rosewood fingerboard. This combination provides a crisp, sharp attack and immaculately defined trebles, complementing the natural warmth and richness of the 85/15 “S” humbuckers. The SE CE24 finishes it all off with rock-solid PRS-designed tuners and a PRS Patented Tremolo for expressive bends and flutters.
