Hold down the low end — and then some — with this acoustic-electric bass from Martin! Packs plentiful sound for the gigging or traveling bassist, the 000CJR-10E starts with a spruce top, solid sapele back, and sides that combine for a balanced tone with plenty of projection. Then, Martin connected the hardwood neck to the body with a mortise and tenon neck joint, allowing for abundant low-end resonance. Martin capped the neck with a Richlite fingerboard for comfort when fretting and long-lasting durability. Its shorter scale and comfortable junior neck profile make it easy for almost anyone to get their hands around it. Meanwhile, its X-bracing and specially made strings hit the heart of thumping Martin bass tone. Lastly, you can revel in the gloriously natural bass tone when plugging in, thanks to a Fishman Sonitone pickup.
