Description
When you take an American Vintage II 1966 Jazz Bass for a test drive, you’ll be impressed by its vintage tone and outstanding playability. A member of Fender’s American Vintage II series, the bass consists of period-accurate components that perfectly mirror those found on a real-deal ’66 J-Bass. This 4-string bass features an offset, contoured alder body and a super comfortable “U”-shaped maple neck. It comes loaded with two Pure Vintage ’66 single-coil J-Bass pickups that perfectly reproduce the biting thump of that model year. Other vintage features include the 7.25-inch round-laminated rosewood board, fingerboard binding, 4-saddle bridge, and “lollipop” tuning keys. There’s a lot to like about the Fender American Vintage II 1966 Jazz Bass, and we’re just scratching the surface.
