The Breedlove American OOO/SM acoustic guitar is built on an OOO body design, a smaller body with plenty of punchy projection. Revered for its for tremendous balance from top to bottom, the OOO guitar style was designed particularly for fingerstyle progressions, thanks to its comfortable body shape, and strong projection in the mid and upper-mid range. The Breedlove acoustic guitar sounds particularly great in an acoustic setting, paired with a dreadnought, or other accompaniment.
The solid Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides offer balanced, full-range tone with lots of clear projection. The ebony fingerboard, and the one-piece mahogany neck produce rich clarity from note to note. The Breedlove OOO/SM guitar’s 25-1/2″ scale, 1-3/4″ nut width, and 16″ radius offer comfort for intricate finger movements, and the gloss finish adds a high-end shine. These design elements yield abundant overtones, complexity, body resonance, and note-for-note swell ideal for creating natural effects, single note complexity, and orchestral chording.
