Description
This Super Heavy Relic 50s Pine Esquire truly looks old, and its tone sounds pure vintage. The neck has that wonderful “big feeling” at the 12th fret and a subtle smaller taper towards the nut. The compound radius fretboard accommodates both soloing and chording as well as the medium vintage frets do. The hand-wound Blackguard pickup sounds great and has been combined with Fender’s Full Throttle Esquire electronics giving you “volume and tone” in position 3, “volume only” in position 2, and “bridge pickup straight to the output jack” in position 1.
