The body’s crisp-sounding Canadian wild cherry body comes complete with a carved center block to drastically reduce feedback when you start cranking up the gain. And with an extraordinarily versatile set of triple-voiced and splittable Seymour Duncan P-Rails hybrid P-90/Rail coil pickups, this guitar is tied down to no genre or stylistic benchmarks, capable of effortless navigating through searing dirt-laden leads and pristine cleans with the flick of a switch. It’s all finished off Godin’s proprietary HDR push-button switch that imparts any of the Montreal Premiere Pro’s vast array of pickups selection with an extra helping of definition and top-end bite — a favorite for slicing right through any dense mix or larger band.
