Taylor’s 212ce-N Plus Grand Concert brings the soft and intimate nylon-string sound to the stage, wearing a striking black-on-black aesthetic that’s sure to garner many a glance. A premium tonewood package starts this nylon-string guitar off on the right foot, beginning with a torrefied solid spruce top that rings with rich resonance and overtones. Bigleaf maple back and sides sonically support the top with a crisp and midrange-forward tonality. Combined with Taylor’s comfortable and beautifully balanced-sounding Grand Concert platform, the 212ce-N Plus takes on delicate melodic fingerstyle and rapid-fire flamenco flourishes with equal aplomb.
