For their 60th Anniversary AC30HW60, Vox has re-created the circuitry and sound of two of its most revered amps in a very special handwired, limited-edition 30-watt 2 x 12″ combo. Avatar of the British Invasion — and one of the most iconic guitar amps ever — the 1964 Vox AC30/6 with Top Boost is as good as it gets for definitive EL84 chime. The 1957 AC15/4 was renowned for the mellifluous tones of its normal channel, and that’s in there too. As if that’s not enough, Vox has included a third vintage-spec vibrato/tremolo channel. With six inputs and three channels: Normal, Brilliant (Top Boost), and Vib/Trem, the AC30HW60 delivers the tonal dexterity — and authenticity — you’ve been craving.
