Ready to dish out all manner of modern metal mayhem, ESP LTD’s EC-200DX represents a striking spin on the classic Eclipse platform. This axe makes a statement right out of the gate with a handsome flamed maple veneer top, along with a comfortable carved and contoured poplar body. The bolt-on neck grants both stability and speed thanks to its robust roasted maple construction and shred-friendly Thin “U” profile. At the same time, a 350mm-radius rosewood fingerboard unlocks effortless bends and a high-performance feel across all 24 XJ frets. And while ESP and LTD instruments are most often found in the hands of metal-focused guitarists, the ESP LTD EC-200DX’s LH-150 humbuckers cover everything from drop-tuned dirt-drenched riffage to classic rock crunch to smooth, smoky blues licks. You also get a top-tier hardware configuration comprising a 2-piece TOM-style bridge and lock-tight LTD tuning machines. Compelling in both looks and sound, the ESP LTD EC-200DX is a rock-solid single-cut that does its ESP Eclipse heritage proud.
