Return & Refund Policy

Gerald Musique

1. General Conditions

At Gerald Musique, we place great importance on the quality of the instruments and equipment we offer. All products are carefully inspected prior to pickup or shipment.

Returns and refunds are accepted only under the conditions outlined below.

2. Return Period

Any request for a return or refund must be made within 15 days of receiving the product, with proof of delivery.

No requests will be accepted after this period.

3. Products Eligible for Refund

A refund or exchange may be granted only if the product is defective or non-conforming, meaning:

  • Manufacturing defect

  • Functional issue not caused by misuse

  • Product received differs from the item ordered

The product must be:

  • In its original condition

  • Accompanied by all original accessories, cases, manuals, and packaging

4. Products Not Eligible for Refund

Returns or refunds will not be accepted in the following cases:

  • Change of mind or personal dissatisfaction

  • Incorrect product selection by the customer

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Damage caused by misuse, modification, or negligence

  • Final sale items

5. Used Instruments

Used instruments are considered final sale, except in the case of a major defect not disclosed at the time of sale.

Each used instrument is carefully inspected and accurately described. The photos displayed represent the actual instrument being sold.

6. Return Procedure

Before returning any item, the customer must contact Gerald Musique by email or phone to obtain return authorization.

Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

7. Return Shipping Costs

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

If a defect is confirmed after inspection, return shipping fees may be reimbursed or covered by Gerald Musique.

8. Refunds

Once the product has been returned and inspected:

  • If the defect is confirmed, a refund will be issued using the original payment method.

  • Refunds are processed to the original form of payment, including Affirm where applicable.

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the error was on our part.

9. Installment Payments (Affirm / Shop Pay Installments)

Purchases made through Affirm (Shop Pay Installments) are subject to the same return policy.

If a refund is approved:

  • The refund is issued to Affirm

  • Affirm will adjust the customer’s payment schedule accordingly

10. Legal Warranty

In accordance with applicable law, all products sold by Gerald Musique are covered by the legal warranty provided under Quebec and Canadian consumer protection legislation.
