Perfect for learning, the D’Addario EJ27N is an affordable set of classical guitar strings designed to deliver a warm sound and comfortable playability. The combination of nylon trebles and wound basses produces a soft, balanced tone that is ideal for beginning guitarists.

Why choose the EJ27N?

  • Normal tension: an excellent balance between playing comfort and volume, suited to most classical guitars and to beginners’ hands.
  • Clear nylon trebles: they produce a warm, round and natural tone, characteristic of the classical guitar.
  • Silver-plated copper wound basses: they deliver rich, well-defined lows with good sustain.
  • Easy to play: their moderate tension is gentle on the fingers and makes learning easier.
  • Stable tuning: D’Addario’s precision manufacturing ensures accurate pitch and consistent intonation.
  • Great value: an economical choice for students, music schools and practice guitars.
  • Protective packaging: the strings are sealed to preserve freshness until opened.

Compatibility: nylon-string classical and flamenco guitars (not suitable for steel-string guitars)

Ideal for: beginners, students, guitar lessons, classical music, flamenco and accompaniment playing.

Whether you’re learning your first chords or looking for reliable strings for a practice guitar, the D’Addario EJ27N is a safe choice for warm tone and comfortable playability.

This place rocks! I was looking for a very specific guitar all across Canada and I found it in this gem of a shop located in Quebec. The people I dealt with there, namely Eric, were absolutely amazing. Very accommodating and helpful. I would buy from here again in a heartbeat. The guitar arrived in Victoria on time, quickly, very well packaged and I'm not even kidding when I say it was perfectly in tune out of the case and beautifully set up. I don't think that's ever happened in all my years of buying instruments. Thank you to Gérald Musique!

I took a chance buying a guitar online from this shop and it's by far the best guitar I own. Made in Canada beauty, the Godin Session 59T. The price was incredible as well as they took a very reasonable offer. Everything about the guitar was perfect including the carrying case it came in. Absolutely no complaints and I would love to buy from this shop again.
