Renowned guitarist Joe Bonamassa owns one of the most enviable guitar collections in the world. Among his most treasured instruments is a 1955 Les Paul Standard finished in an exceptionally rare Copper Iridescent color, originally created for display at the 1955 NAMM Show. As Joe describes it: “From a distance, it looks brown, but in direct light, it has gold metal flake in the finish.”

The Epiphone Joe Bonamassa 1955 Les Paul Standard faithfully recreates this historic instrument. It features the same Copper Iridescent finish, along with a pair of Epiphone P-90 PRO pickups, wired with CTS potentiometers, Mallory capacitors, and 50s-style wiring, delivering an authentic vintage tone rich in dynamics and character.

A mahogany neck with a Custom ’59 Rounded C profile, paired with a long neck tenon, provides a solid, resonant feel reminiscent of original mid-’50s Les Pauls. The guitar ships in an exclusive “Nerdville” graphic hardshell case, celebrating Joe Bonamassa’s passion for rare and historic instruments.
